Available on the Heart + Stroke page (formerly Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada), the course for BLS provider is a completely in-person experience where you learn the material through classroom sessions, videos, exercises and coaching. All training is led by a Heart + Stroke instructor. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to use your skills in exercises and receive feedback before assessment. Students learn immediate resuscitation skills with one or more rescuers. Training emphasizes high-quality CPR and team dynamics in a variety of settings, including pre-hospital and in-hospital care.
